How to maintain normal blood pressure in everyday life?

Blood pressure is one of the most important indicators reflecting our body's general state of health. When it becomes too high or too low, the consequences can be felt both in overall well-being and long-term health. The modern lifestyle – rush, stress, insufficient physical activity, and not always a balanced diet – places additional strain on the body, making blood pressure balance a crucial foundation for everyone's well-being. Therefore, it is increasingly important to understand what affects blood pressure and how to maintain it within normal limits through daily choices.

Studies show that an unhealthy diet, low physical activity levels, and chronic stress can contribute to high blood pressure, while a balanced diet and regular exercise help stabilize it.[1] Certain nutrients play a significant role in maintaining heart health, such as potassium, magnesium, and omega-3 fatty acids, which help maintain normal vascular function and blood pressure, as well as coenzyme Q10, which is associated with cellular energy production and can beneficially affect the cardiovascular system.[2] Therefore, Professor Andris Skride has developed the Cardeon product line, based on cardiology research and clinical practice. These products are designed to provide additional support for people who want to care for their heart, especially in situations where it is not always possible to maintain a perfectly balanced diet or sufficient physical activity levels. The Cardeon line combines important nutrients that help maintain normal vascular function and promote the body's energy balance, thereby supporting cardiovascular system well-being in everyday life.

High Blood Pressure

High blood pressure is the most common and modifiable risk factor for the development of cardiovascular diseases, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, stroke, dementia, and chronic kidney disease.[3] To treat high blood pressure, physician-prescribed medications should be used. To prevent and delay the onset of hypertension, it is strongly recommended to change one's lifestyle, including maintaining or achieving a healthy weight, adhering to heart-healthy eating patterns, reducing sodium intake, increasing dietary potassium intake, implementing a moderate physical activity program, managing stress, and reducing or completely stopping alcohol consumption.

We have created the Cardeon Balance complex – a dietary supplement that can be used in addition to physician-prescribed medications. The complex includes:
  1. Magnesium citrate + potassium
  2. Coenzyme Q10
  3. Omega-3 fatty acids
The magnesium and potassium in the complex contribute to normal muscle function. Magnesium helps maintain electrolyte balance. If the balance is disrupted, cramps, weakness, or even heart rhythm disturbances can occur.[4] The potassium and omega-3 fatty acids in the complex help maintain normal blood pressure.[5] Coenzyme Q10 plays a central role in cellular energy production in mitochondria, is a powerful antioxidant, and neutralizes free radicals, reducing oxidative stress. These effects are particularly important for cells with high energy (ATP) consumption – heart muscle cells.[6] The Cardeon Balance complex is a convenient solution for daily use, combining the most important substances in a well-thought-out combination. It helps simplify the care for one's well-being and provides additional support for those who want to pay more attention to heart health. By using the complex regularly and combining it with a balanced diet, exercise, and sufficient rest, it is possible to form healthy habits and feel better in the long term.
